This restaurant absolutely deserves the three stars it has had since 1988! By far one of the best Michelin meals I have ever had! We went for lunch and choose the a la carte menu, as it gave us a bit more flexibility for our pickiness (e.g. no foie gras or pigeon for me).
The first dish that came out was an amuse bouche is English peas. I definitely did not know that simple peas could taste that good. Maybe it was the edible flowers that made the difference.
My second was a lobster ravioli. It was much larger than I expected, and I could have had three of them as my meal and I would have been satisfied. However, I would have missed out on the turbot, which was excellent. It was paired with a chicken stocked based sauce, which was perfect.
Dessert was a pavlova, but nothing like pavlovas I've had in the past. This one was much more delicate and tasted as beautiful as it looked.
And if that was enough, then came the finale of gelatin candy, white chocolate covered ice cream, and macadamia nut chocolate brittle.
Of course the service was impeccable. However, I will have to admit, I did have trouble understanding the servers when they were explaining the food. But none of that really mattered as it was all delicious. -

Went to Restaurant Gordon Ramsay for lunch and had the Prestige tasting menu with wine pairing. Absolutely incredible experience, the service, food and drinks were all spot on and we had a lovely time. You never feel rushed as you're presented with some of the best food London has to offer. I'd highly recommend trying this place at least once if you haven't before. You'll need to plan ahead though as reservations open three months in advance, it's also very expensive which is not surprising considering it's a 3 Michigan starred establishment.
Highly recommended! -

Absolute amazing experience. Hands down top dining experience I have had. From the minute we walked in, customer service was impeccable.
I suggest dressing nice and come hungry. Although small portions, they pack a big punch with flavor and fullness. Make reservations far in advance as dinner will last easily 4+ hours and they have limited seating. Each table has many wait staff per table they attended the entire meal.
The Food: such a great culinary experience. We both tried each one of the tastings. 7 courses each. One is set and one you get to use a few options. The placement and layout of the foods were wonderful. The colors and textures, also wonderful. I couldn't wait to see what came out next. Each plate had such a unique flavor and taste.
I decided to include the cheese plate and I am so glad I did. They serve 4 cheeses with a small array of fruits, bread, shortbread and crackers. The presentation is fun to watch it all be cut and served.
Even the presentation with serving wine table side with a lit candle was nice.
This night was very special to me personally because we were brought back to the kitchen to see the renovations, how the kitchen ran and meet the chefs. The head host offered to take our pictures, and gave us a little information about how the kitchen is ran. I was just asking my BF if they did that before we had dinner because that would be so cool. So my night was made -

Compared to Michelin 3-star restaurants in California, Restaurant of Gordon Ramsey is slightly cheaper. However, all the dishes are well-presented and delicious. Servers are very attentive and explain dishes thoroughly. At the end of the meal, the server also give us a kitchen tour. It's definitely a highlight of my London trip!

During our trip to london this February, last minute i was lucky to book a lunch at gordon ramsay. Nice atmosphere but the table is a bit too close to each other. A little loud because the dining area is a bit small. The food are okay, a bit salty in my sense. But service is excellent, they even took us to the back kitchen which is nice
